Day 54: Straight to Bend
The past few days have been very gruelling both physically and mentally but fortunately we only had 4 miles to get to the road at Santiam Pass.
We originally intended to go to the town of Sisters but were fortunate to get a lift further on to the town of Bend, which had cheaper motel options. And a welcome lunch!
Hi Ros you both look so fit and happy i take my hat off to you both, we just spent a night in a glamping tent at Carnarvon Gorge. Warm enough in bed but toilet trips at night are the pits. How do you manage to look so happy and cheerful. Keep on keeping on. Enjoying every minute of your journey
