To Pietown, red line mile 415<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiked today: 13.7 miles \/ 22km<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we started a bit earlier, 5:30am. The objective was to get to Pietown Post Office before it closed at noon. Along the way a trail angel named Solo stopped and gave us an energy drink (he had done this twice already as we bumped to him in various places earlier on).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We managed to do the 14 miles by 10:30 and dumped our gear at the famous “Toaster House” which is a house donated for the use of hikers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then it was off to the two cafes in town for breakfast, then lunch. Both sell fantastic pies, so a big slice of pie and icecream each!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
