However it was good to enjoy the camaraderie around the fireplace in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We left about 7:30 and walked in cold and windy weather. We thought it might rain but it didn&#8217;t and now we are in camp the sun is actually shining. Rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.\u00a0 Our plan for tomorrow is to hike the three miles to Clingmans Dome then mostly downhill to a highway crossing where we will hitch into Gatlinburg and stay in a motel.
